In an exclusive report, a South Korean news outlet, News Tomato, revealed that actor Gong Myung and girl group Weki Meki member Doyeon are allegedly in a relationship.
On February 26, 2024 (KST), News Tomato reported that the two had developed feelings for each other, potentially after appearing on the JTBC K-Drama Be Melodramatic in 2019 together—where Gong Myung took on a larger role and Doyeon made a special appearance in the second episode.
Gong Myung used to be under the management Fantagio where Weki Meki and Doyeon remain signed. An industry insider stated, “It is known that their relationship has become closer as Doyeon recently left the Weki Meki dorm.”
Neither Gong Myung nor Doyeon has responded to the report, but their management companies have reportedly commented that “It is impossible to confirm as it pertains to their personal lives.”
